Video Summary

In this talk, Eli reflects on the importance of personal growth and the necessity of making active changes to ensure a new year is truly transformative rather than a repetition of the past. He shares his personal journey of sobriety as an example of how removing life-altering obstacles can open the door to new opportunities. Looking toward 2026, Eli announces a potential new podcast venture with his twin brother, Tim, aimed at sharing their combined psychological wisdom and alignment to help others heal.

The Requirement for Real Change

  • Eli notes that the holiday season is a busy time for his office because people often realize that a new year doesn’t bring change automatically.
  • He emphasizes that “Happy New Year” is a meaningless phrase unless an individual does the “mud work” of healing and changing their beliefs.
  • Eli suggests that people must actively choose to leave unhealthy relationships, unsatisfactory jobs, or destructive habits to avoid repeating the same patterns.
  • Citing Joe Dispenza, he warns that without doing this internal work by age 35, people often spend the rest of their lives in a repetitive cycle.

Lessons from Personal Transformation

  • Eli reflects on his own sobriety, which began on February 29th during the 1988 leap year.
  • He describes that year as one of the most amazing of his life despite the difficulty of overcoming addiction.
  • Once he removed addiction from his life, he found that many new opportunities became available to him.
  • He encourages listeners to stop letting their past experiences dictate their present reality.

Professional Transitions

  • Both Eli and his brother are currently undergoing significant transitions in their professional lives.
  • Eli’s brother, Tim, is retiring from seeing clients in person.
  • Eli is moving his practice toward providing online therapy services.

The Twin Podcast Project

  • Eli and Tim are considering launching a “twins podcast” in 2026 to share their teachings.
  • Possible names for the show are being brainstormed, including a suggestion from a friend titled “Psych Twins”.
  • Eli describes their connection as a “coherent superposition calibration” of 100%, noting they are in total alignment in their thoughts and ideas.
  • While Eli is enthusiastic and working to pull the project together, he mentions that Tim has not fully committed to the idea yet.

Vision for the Future

  • The goal of the podcast would be to provide wisdom and teachings to help others work through their personal issues.
  • Eli envisions an interactive format where listeners could call in or email questions for them to discuss.
  • He believes their unique perspective and beliefs can offer significant help to those seeking change.

Hola! Happy Monday! Hope you guys had a good holiday season. This is when things start getting busy for Eli and his office because people go through the holidays and nothing really changes. Yeah, we got New Year’s coming, but that’s not going to necessarily mean it’s a new year for you unless you make some changes. Get out of that crappy relationship. Get out of that crappy job. Lose the weight. Quit letting the past inform your present. All kinds of work we could do to have a new year. And I remember back in 1988, I got sober on February 29th leap year. And that was one of the most amazing years of my life. It was hard because of the addiction getting away from that. But what was amazing is once I took that out of my life, all these other opportunities and things came up for me. So, but I had to get rid of the addiction. So, happy new year doesn’t mean anything because if you don’t do the work, the mud work, healing, change your beliefs, you’re going to do happy groundhog year again. Okay? And Joe Dispenza says that in his book, Breaking the Heaven of Being Yourself. If we don’t do the work by the age of 35, we’re probably going to do groundhog day for the rest of our lives. So, in order to help you guys, my brother and I are going through a big transition now. And he’s going to retire from seeing people in person. And I’m going to start doing some online therapy. But one of the things we’re both interested in talking about is a podcast, a twins podcast. I put up on Facebook yesterday, I asked people to give us some names. Great ideas coming. And there’s a bunch I’ve been writing about on it. We’ve got about 20 or so, so far. Just some really catchy names. I like the one lady, my friend Shay wrote, Psych Twins. But Psych, like psychiatry, twins. So, we’ll see how that goes. So, I just wanted to put this out there that there’s a good chance you’re going to be seeing a podcast in 2026. The twins are going to be getting together because our coherent superposition calibration is 100%. We connect on so many different levels. It’s almost like there’s two of me, but he’s standing next to me and I’m standing next to him. We’re in total alignment. The way we think, feel, our ideas and that not 100% like we’re the same, but we really think in very good ways. So keep your eyes open for this. Tim still hasn’t committed yet, but I’m working on a little bit to put it out there to see if we can pull this off. And there are a lot of people out there doing podcasts that I hear. And, you know, we’ve got some amazing wisdom and teachings that we can put out there and help people work through their stuff. They can either call in maybe or email us any questions and that and we can talk about it, our beliefs and what we think would help. So stay tuned for that podcast, twin psych or whatever it’s going to be, hopefully in 2026. Okay. I love you guys. Bye-bye.
