The Book Release and Reflection
- Eli announces that his book, “The Eli Effect,” is finally available on Amazon.
- He credits his publisher, William, for doing a great job on the back cover.
- Seeing the book published felt very surreal to Eli and prompted him to reflect on why he wrote it.
Understanding the Eli Effect
- Eli explains that the “Eli Effect” is the inner voice or soul that acts as a compass for life.
- He emphasizes that this inner guidance is distinct from the ego or societal programming that encourages playing it safe.
- In Judaism, the third level of the soul is what Eli refers to as his guiding force.
Overcoming Fear and Regret
- He shares examples of people who gave in to fear and panic at a young age, leading to years of living with regret.
- Eli advises listeners to embrace the idea of feeling fear but proceeding anyway, rather than staying in survival mode.
- He compares the body’s fear response to an electric dog collar that zaps you when trying something new, which he interprets as a sign to keep moving forward.
Trusting the Process and Authenticity
- The purpose of the book is to inspire people to discover true authenticity and be their real selves consistently.
- Trusting this path can feel murky and scary, but Eli encourages patience while waiting for things to line up.
- He notes that reality is fractal, meaning it takes time for opportunities or signs to develop.
Inspiring Future Generations
- Eli wrote the book hoping his personal story becomes the audience’s story, inspiring bravery and change.
- He specifically wants to reach younger people who feel lost and lack direction, helping them find their inner rudder.
- He concludes by sharing his weekend plans in Northwest Indiana, including attending Griffith Fest to celebrate with his favorite ice cream ladies.

Hola! Happy Friday! I have been doing videos for a couple of weeks. I was sicker than a dog last week with a chest cold, but I’m back. So guess what? The Eli Effect book is now available on Amazon. Finally! William did a great job, so I want to give him credit, my publisher. But we decided to go through Amazon. It was easier for him, and I guess I don’t know. I’ve never done this. But he did a great job on the back. So I want to talk about why I wrote a book. And, you know, everybody’s been asking me, what’s it like? What’s it feel like? Well, yesterday when I found out it was finally on Amazon, it was very surreal for me. You know, obviously I’ve never done this before. But I started to reflect about it yesterday because I had some time off. That book was written for you guys because even though it’s my story, it’s your story. There are so many people that don’t listen to what I call the Eli Effect. That little voice inside, that little nudge that we get to try something, to do something, to make a phone call, to ask a question. And that is your soul. I believe that. That is guiding us. Our soul is the compass to your life. Not this. Not that little parrot. Not the ego. You know, guys, we’ve been so programmed here to play it safe, be a good boy and girl. Don’t stir up the pot, etc., etc. And that programming is in our bodies. And if we don’t have the bravery and the courage to go beyond that, yeah, you’ll be here for a while. You know, I’ll be 75 in July. But have you really done what you were here to do? You know, yesterday, my brother and I were talking at the office. We were talking about when we were 18 and 19 and how lost we were. You know, we had no rudder to our ship. We had no idea where we were going. The good news is the mentors started showing up, the different people that believed in us. And it wasn’t overnight. This is a process. It’s still a process going on 75 years old. Okay. But if we don’t listen to what’s being given to us, whether it’s from the inside, the soul or the outside, the people that believe in us, that see our gifts, that know we’re amazing. And this isn’t about being egotistical. You know, Rabbi Joel would say, true humility is knowing you’re amazing, but keeping it to yourself. Okay. And that’s what this book is about for you guys. Know you’re amazing and go live it. Don’t talk about it. You know, I almost did this. I almost did that. Bullshit. You know, I’ve had a couple encounters this past week through a couple of soul retrievals I did for two people. And both of them had a dream at 18 and they both weanied out. Now, one of the people’s, they’re in their late twenties. The other one’s in his mid forties living with regret all those years because they gave into the body, the fear, the panic, the I’m not good enough. All that bullcrap stuff that we have in our heads. So why I wrote this book is to show you what is possible if you trust that Eli effect, that force inside of you that knows exactly what your map of life looks like. This doesn’t know anything. You know, it’s all about survival mode. It’s all about fear and running from things. Okay. Yeah, it’s in there. You know, one of my first therapists shared something with me that I’ve lived for over 50 years. Feel the fear and do it anyway. Because you’re going to get stuff in this body. You know, Joe Dispenza calls it the chemicals, the hormones that the body zaps us with. It’s like I’ve talked about the electric dog collar. You start going toward the end of the fence area and you get zapped. Well, usually to me, that’s a sign I’m doing something new and different and I need to keep moving forward. Most people, as soon as they feel the little vibration going off the little, stop. Oh, I’m done. I can’t do that. If this book inspires you to find your Eli effect, whatever you want to call it, you know, the Eli is the higher soul for me. You know, that in Judaism, there’s five levels to the soul. It’s the third level of the soul that has been guiding me. Did I listen to it right away? No, I got way off the reservation. I had to get back to it. And life will bring the people into you into your world that will guide you. And that’s what I’m hoping this book does. This guy, whether Eli or Tom, has been sent to have you read a book to see if you’re ready to change what you need to change. Even if it’s a 180 turn. I’ve seen people do that. I need inspiration. I want to talk about lives of people that did something really crazy and brave and different things like that. I’m tired of the same old, same old. And I know you guys are too. So the purpose of me writing this book was to inspire you to be the real you that you were born to be. Not the one they told you to be. Not the one they programmed us to be. Not the one that wants to fit in. You know, I read something recently from my buddy John Roma on Facebook. And he talked about what is true authenticity. And it’s discovering who you really are and being that consistently. Not once a month or once a year. All the time. And guys and gals, you’re going to have a hell of a ride if you trust it. Will it be scary at times? Will it be murky? Will you feel like you’re in a forest and you don’t know where the heck you’re at? Yes, I’ve gone through that. But I just sit and wait. I don’t go crazy with that because I know things are lining up. You know, everything in this reality is fractal. So it takes a while for the fractals to develop. So just sit patiently and all of a sudden you’ll get an email. You’ll see something post. You’ll have a conversation with somebody and it’ll wake you up and say, oh yeah, yeah. Okay, I’m ready. So I pray to God that my story becomes your stories. Different but similar. Because we all have this thing inside of us, that forest, the Eli effect, that is waiting to move us forward. And get the word out there. If you, especially, it doesn’t matter the ages, but younger the better. You know, because a lot of these young people are lost that I work with in that. Because they don’t know the rudder that they have inside. It’s in there. You just got to trust it. You got to be willing to go through all kinds of stuff inside this body. You know, the first time I went skydiving, this body was terrified. If I would have given in to those chemicals, I would have never jumped. But I felt it and did it anyway. All right, listen, have a good weekend. If you’re in Northwest Indiana, we got 80s this weekend. I’m all excited about that. We’re going to Griffith Fest tonight for their first band and their treats and my favorite ice cream ladies. I can’t wait for them to see the book because they knew it was coming. All right, love you guys. Bye-bye.
